Risely is a fast-growing digital marketing agency seeking a Local SEO Specialist to support our clients’ growth in their local markets. Our team is fully remote, and this role is open to candidates worldwide. We offer flexibility, whether full-time or part-time.

Compensation will depend on experience and background.

Responsibilities

As a Local SEO Specialist, you will help our clients increase their visibility in local search results across various platforms, including Google Maps, Bing Maps, and Apple Maps.

  • Develop and implement local SEO strategies for small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles (GBP), Bing Maps, and Apple Maps listings to ensure accurate business information.
  • Build and manage citation listings, local link-building strategies, and optimize geo-specific keywords.
  • Perform on-page SEO optimizations tailored for local search, including schema markup and NAP consistency.
  • Provide monthly reporting on local SEO performance, including map grid ranking results.
  • Use AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance efficiency in your daily tasks and project management.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience with local SEO, including Google Business Profile and more.
  • Strong knowledge of local search ranking factors and how to improve visibility in local searches.
  • Experience with citation building, local link-building, and optimizing for “near me” searches.
  • Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Local Falcon, and BrightLocal.
  • Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance work processes and overall productivity.
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for learning and staying updated on the latest local SEO and AI trends.
